About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test SAP ABAP software solutions supporting S/4 HANA and GTS business systems
Provide solutions across design, development, and implementation
Interact with technical groups, business leaders, and process owners
Interface with business process owners, analysts, and functional engineers to understand data requirements
Perform data profiling and analysis activities to establish, modify, and maintain data models
Support review, sign-off, and adoption of data models with global business users, architecture, and delivery teams
Create and maintain technical documentation
Contribute to processing automation and performance improvements
Ensure security and compliance with governance policies
Participate in unit, integration, and UAT testing to ensure quality

Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent written and communication skills with proven experience working with business partners, vendors, and business users
Working knowledge of business concepts and processes, including sales order processing, purchasing, distribution, payables, and receivables
Ability to operate across multiple projects concurrently
Experience working with SAP BSAs to understand functional business requirements and document technical requirements
At least 1 full SAP implementation lifecycle and post-production development ABAP objects support
Strong SAP ABAP software development and ABAP Workbench navigation experience
Experience integrating SAP with third-party SQL Server-based systems and applications
Hands-on experience building interfaces to non-SAP applications using RFCs, BAPIs, ALE/IDOC, ODATA, and Web Services
Hands-on experience with SAP enhancement techniques such as EXITS, BADIS, and new enhancement framework techniques (AIF)
Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori applications, including custom extension development and configuration for user roles, catalogs, and groups
Hands-on experience designing and developing data dictionary objects, data elements, domains, structures, views, lock objects, search helps, and SAP document output formatting
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience is a bonus
