About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate recruitment processes, maintain job descriptions, support prescreens and interviews, and complete reference and pre-employment checks
- Oversee onboarding processes, benefits administration, staff introductions, and facility tours
- Administer employee development and training opportunities
- Administer performance management programs and policy administration
- Oversee offboarding processes, conduct exit interviews, and provide feedback to management
- Provide backup support for payroll processes and payroll database updates
- Communicate with staff on human resource matters, answer questions, and facilitate problem resolution
- Facilitate organization-wide meetings and staff events
- Keep up to date with human resource trends and best practices
- Provide management and mentorship to Accounting and People Operations Specialist
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar human resource role
- Excellent verbal and written and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information and situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Office 365 strongly preferred
- A self-starter able to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
