About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own foundational infrastructure for engineering
- Define platform and tooling supporting AI efforts
- Build environments and test harnesses for AI agents to safely exercise and validate systems
- Make high-leverage decisions about infrastructure, CI/CD, and developer experience
- Design and manage reproducible, reviewable, scalable AWS infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Own infrastructure end to end and shape the engineering platform
- Own and continuously improve GitHub CI/CD pipelines
- Keep the platform secure, observable, and dependable as the product and team grow
- Set infrastructure standards and partner across engineering
- Develop strong product knowledge of the platform and its users
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps/SRE engineering
- Experience building and running production systems at scale
- Hands-on expertise with Terraform and AWS
- Code-first approach to managing infrastructure
- Deep experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Day-to-day experience working in GitHub
- Experience building and running production services in Node.js and TypeScript
- Comfortable working across languages and picking up new tools as needed
- Strong product sense
- Ability to work autonomously in greenfield ambiguity
- End-to-end ownership of decisions in a fast-moving environment
