Key responsibilities & impact

Own product areas from problem definition through architecture, implementation, launch, and iteration
Build customer-facing features across marketplace, campaign management, collaboration, payments, analytics, and creator workflows
Help make Zest an indispensable creator-led growth product
Turn foundation models into structured, reliable product experiences
Work on intelligent workflows involving agents, tools, retrieval, search, recommendations, and generated interfaces
Develop evaluations, observability, and feedback loops for AI features
Collaborate with design to create fast, intuitive, polished experiences
Talk directly with customers and translate ambiguous needs into product decisions
Make pragmatic architectural choices balancing speed, quality, maintainability, and performance
Improve systems and engineering practices for reliable, high-velocity delivery
At Staff level, provide technical direction, raise the engineering bar, and support other engineers' decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant experience building and shipping high-quality, customer-facing software; 5+ years is a useful guide
Strong TypeScript and React fundamentals, with full-stack experience
Track record of independently driving complex features or products from ambiguity to measurable customer impact
Strong product and technical judgment
Experience building with LLMs or other applied AI systems in production
Understanding of AI product challenges including evaluation, context, retrieval, model behavior, latency, cost, observability, and failure modes
Clear, proactive communication and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment
Care for software craftsmanship while maintaining momentum and customer outcomes
