About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and grow an enterprise B2B client portfolio clustered into an industry, industries, or functions
- Drive revenue growth, product adoption, renewals, and expansion across the portfolio
- Own portfolio metrics, client outcomes, engagement quality, and portfolio health; refresh the portfolio quarterly
- Move clients through proof-of-concept scholarship, paid pilot, and division rollout stages on defined timelines
- Serve as account lead for one portfolio client
- Establish internal understanding of industry and client business issues, financial performance, and relevant trends
- Direct matrixed customer success, marketing, and operations partners to improve activations, enrollments, completions, and coaching engagement
- Track program performance and attrition data, calculate ROI, and direct interventions when metrics need attention
- Evaluate user-facing marketing and provide substantive feedback on campaign strategy
- Deliver quarterly verdicts on coaching, curriculum, user experience, business objectives, and ROI; recommend roadmap changes
- Set portfolio operating cadence, agenda, and quality bar for client-facing narratives
- Manage and develop a customer success lead
- Set priorities for matrixed sales, marketing, coaching, learning design, operations, and data partners
- Advocate for portfolio resources and translate learnings into efficient, scalable operational processes
- Report to the CRO
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years in strategic partnerships, customer success, program management, general management, or consulting — ideally owning a portfolio of large enterprise clients
- A track record of owning a number, not just a workstream, and achieving and exceeding renewal, expansion, and revenue targets
- Strong analytical skills, including pulling and interpreting data and communicating findings and compelling narratives to diverse client stakeholders
- Exceptional written communication, including executive summaries, client emails, and substantive marketing campaign feedback
- Proven ability to drive alignment across multiple internal teams without direct authority
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong internal and external client relationships
- Strategic thinking ability to set direction and unblock execution
- High performer with early-stage experience, comfortable with ambiguity, curious, motivated, humble, and hardworking
- Ability to work from the NYC office a minimum of 2–3 days per week; this role requires a hybrid schedule with regular in-person presence
- Financial services, insurance, or contact center experience a plus
- Prior strategy consulting experience a plus
