About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain robust billing applications and features, including invoice generation systems, using Java 25
Architect and manage highly concurrent, multi-threaded application logic for memory efficiency and system stability
Own infrastructure tasks and ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and well-maintained
Utilize and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases, including Bigtable
Design and maintain high-quality API integrations using standards such as Swagger/OpenAPI
Implement and manage solutions within cloud environments, with GCP preferred

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional experience in backend development
Strong command of Java
Experience in AI Coding Tools and willingness to further drive AI Adoption in the Development process
Ability to break down complex problems, clarify requirements with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and design clean, well-architected solutions
Strong, proven experience in async environments and multi-threaded application logic
Experience owning infrastructure and ensuring system scalability and reliability
Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
Ability to navigate ambiguity and find root causes
Clear communication and effective teamwork
Experience with Git
Experience with continuous deployment pipelines such as GitLab
Experience with agile practices including monthly scope planning and regular code reviews
