About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct legal research
- Draft legal documents, including contracts and memos
- Assist with contract review and flag key terms, risks, and issues for attorney review
- Research legal questions related to ecommerce, commercial, and intellectual property matters
- Concisely summarize research findings
- Support compliance and corporate governance tasks
- Maintain legal records

Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a juris doctor degree at a top tier law school
- 1L students only
- Basic understanding of legal principles and terms
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Interest in corporate, litigation, M&A, securities, intellectual property, or related areas of law
- Collaboration, trustworthiness, receptiveness to feedback, and eagerness to learn
- Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
- Ability to compile and analyze data, track information, and support internal company clients
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately while multitasking
