About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work alongside the Operations Business Intelligence Analyst on reporting and analysis requests
Shadow Operations department members
Pull, clean, and validate operational data from spreadsheets, internal systems, and marketplace and fulfillment partner data
Build and refresh weekly and monthly reports, dashboards, and spreadsheets tracking inventory, orders, shipments, and fulfillment metrics
Monitor inventory, orders, and shipments across marketplaces and fulfillment partners
Identify anomalies and trends and flag issues to appropriate owners
Investigate ad hoc operational questions and present findings clearly
Document reporting logic, data definitions, and processes
Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve efficiency and accuracy
Own a small project or analysis and present findings and recommendations
Take on additional projects related to ecommerce operations, business intelligence, and supply chain management
Report to and receive mentorship from the Supply Chain Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
Understanding of operations, supply chain, and business principles
Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups
Comfort working with large data sets
Familiarity with SQL or BI and data visualization tools is a plus; strong interest in learning them is required
Natural curiosity and an analytical mindset
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with large volumes of data
Collaboration, trustworthiness, receptiveness to feedback, and eagerness to learn
Strong organization and communication skills, including explaining data and findings clearly to non-technical teammates
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
