Lead complex technical initiatives and drive architectural decisions
Set technical direction and ensure delivery of robust, scalable, and high-quality software solutions
Lead the design, development, and implementation of highly complex, large-scale distributed software systems and features
Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance
Drive technical strategy and evaluate emerging technologies
Recommend cloud-native, microservices-based solutions
Architect and integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions into production-grade, multi-tenant software systems
Design and implement microservices-based, event-driven, and service-oriented architectures
Reduce operational cost and increase system resilience
Provide technical leadership and mentorship
Establish engineering standards for quality, observability, and operational excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
5 years of experience in software development or related occupation
Background in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale, distributed software systems
Ability to design and implement cloud-native architectures on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Ability to design and deliver microservices-based and event-driven software architectures
Background in architecting and integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions into production software systems, including applied machine learning, computer vision, and foundation-model integration such as Amazon Bedrock
Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks
Understanding of software architecture patterns
Python and FastAPI experience for backend and API development
React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript experience for front-end delivery
Knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, relational and NoSQL databases, and data pipelines and streaming
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tooling
Ability to translate complex and ambiguous business problems into scalable, reliable, and secure technical solutions
