About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Make daily collection phone calls and send written collection communications
- Maintain detailed records of all collection activity
- Provide customer and branch analytical support by researching and reconciling customer requests
- Collaborate with OTC Cash Processors to identify and resolve statement discrepancies
- Manage collection of delinquent accounts while maintaining a positive customer service culture
- Collaborate with Branch Managers, Sales Representatives, Customer Service Representatives, and Equipment Coordinators
- Establish rapport with branches and Patterson teams and share wins and successes
- Engage in and suggest continuous process improvement ideas
- Ensure activities are performed efficiently and effectively
- Provide analytical support to the Accounts Receivable Manager and Shared Services Director
- Report directly to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to positively contribute to the Accounts Receivable and Shared Services team environment
- Exceptional organizational, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills
- Great attention to detail
- Strong customer orientation
- Commitment to Patterson’s values and professionalism through appropriate conduct at all times
- Minimum travel with occasional on-call responsibility for the team
- Ability to work 8 hours/day, Monday through Friday
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word) preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Strong phone skills preferred
