About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage projects throughout all stages of the project lifecycle from initiation through closure
Independently lead medium-sized projects and assist on large programs
Manage SaaS, SAP enhancements, warehouse management improvements, cybersecurity, infrastructure upgrades, and office merger projects
Prepare Project Charters and coordinate kick-off meetings
Align stakeholders on objectives, KPIs, and communication plans
Facilitate agile planning with Technical Product Owners to define sprint schedules and go-live timelines
Develop and maintain project plans with milestones and task assignments
Monitor progress to ensure timely delivery
Produce RAID logs, stakeholder analyses, decision trackers, and risk mitigation plans
Document and communicate budget estimates and actuals
Identify risks, escalate issues to leadership, and implement mitigation strategies
Deliver project status updates through reports, presentations, and meetings
Lead cutover and hypercare plans for successful implementation
Conduct retrospectives, share lessons learned, and recommend process enhancements
Engage with managers and cross-functional teams, including EPMO and GDA, to share best practices, discuss dependencies, and support team goals
Comply with company and department policies and standards; perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Finance or equivalent education and/or experience
3 years of Project Management Experience
Experience using project management tools and methodologies
Proven ability to develop successful collaborative working relationships with a variety of industries
Ability to effectively communicate with business leaders and collaborate with cross-functional department representatives
Ability to manage technical and non-technical/business projects, including projects with international components
Proven success managing large projects (6-18 months in duration) with many cross-functional teams
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects, conflicting priorities and schedules simultaneously, meeting all deadlines
Ability to manage using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Proficiency in leveraging AI tools for meeting summaries, action tracking, and reporting automation
Strong customer service skills and sense of urgency
Attention to detail producing high quality work products
Ability to take direction from several individuals and be self-directed
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to resolve team misalignments or disagreements
Independent judgment and critical thinking
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification preferred
