About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the Paula’s Choice sourcing strategy, aligning brand growth priorities, innovation roadmaps, regulatory requirements, and margin targets into an integrated plan.
  • Lead cost and margin improvement initiatives across formulations and packaging through value engineering, alternate ingredient/pack development, and supplier consolidation.
  • Act as the first point of contact for escalated supplier issues and brand procurement questions.
  • Serve as the primary interface with Planning, R&D, Marketing, Quality, and Portfolio Procurement.
  • Represent procurement in brand forums and translate commercial and market insights into brand impact and decision recommendations.
  • Drive supplier relationship management, including QBRs, performance scorecards, innovation engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain risk and contingency plans for critical formulations and components, including dual sourcing, capacity reservations, and alternates.
  • Consolidate brand-level spend and supplier data to identify trends and inform strategy.
  • Contribute to executive dashboards for savings, risk, and margin performance.
  • Promote effective use of digital procurement tools and process improvements.
  • Partner with central portfolio procurement and brand supply chain on change management and capability building.
  • Deliver cost savings, gross margin improvement, improved lead times, OTIF, inventory efficiency, supplier resiliency, on-time NPD sourcing, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field.
  • 8–10 years in procurement roles within beauty, luxury, or FMCG sectors, with expertise in skincare ingredients and packaging.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects with R&D and supply chain and drive adoption of best-practice procurement processes.
  • Exceptional business partnering and stakeholder management with senior brand leaders in a matrixed environment.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate brand ambition into sourcing execution and measurable commercial impact.
  • Deep RFx and negotiation capability, including price, terms and conditions, and risk.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen, synthesizing market trends, spend, supplier capability, and formulation dynamics.
  • Fluent in procurement and CLM tools; adept at digital reporting and decision transparency.
  • Clear communication and escalation handling with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of procurement in New Product Development (NPD) and stage-gate processes.
