About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a global team of Category Demand Planners
  • Own aggregated, category-level global demand planning for revenue-generating units
  • Scale a consistent forecasting methodology across NAM, APAC, EU, and ANZ
  • Maintain a rolling 18-month demand horizon
  • Bring category insights and item-level trends into S&OP meetings
  • Lead monthly demand reviews and the demand step of the integrated S&OP process
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply to build the consensus demand plan
  • Represent demand planning at consensus and executive S&OP tiers
  • Run an in-month global pacing view to identify revenue risks and opportunities
  • Provide in-season analysis on promotions, events, and launches
  • Define and own forecast KPIs and drive continuous improvement
  • Drive Quarterly Category Hindsight reviews, Product Lifecycle Management, and assortment optimization
  • Lead product ranking and core-SKU definition to support inventory strategy
  • Drive new-product-launch market forecast consolidation and approval
  • Serve as demand planning lead for the Oracle Planning Central implementation
  • Ensure planning tools use the demand plan and operational data to drive supply planning
  • Hire, manage, and develop the Global Category Demand Planning team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fully remote within the US; West Coast only for time-zone alignment
  • Typical PDT business hours, with flexibility required to support global time zones
  • Ability to handle long periods of sitting and screen time
  • Strong analytical capability across multiple systems and markets
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing skills
  • Strong people leadership and team development skills
  • Deep familiarity with S&OP/IBP process design
  • Ability to write structured forecasting standards and work instructions
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, merchandise planning, or S&OP/IBP in a multi-channel, multi-market consumer goods or beauty environment
  • 4+ years of direct people management or formal team leadership experience
  • Experience building or leading a formal S&OP/IBP process across multiple regions or markets
  • Advanced Excel skills with large datasets
  • Experience leading planning system implementations or major process redesigns
  • Familiarity with Power BI and NetSuite
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification a plus
  • Prior personal care, beauty, or comparable multinational CPG experience a plus
