About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own Americas trade marketing strategy and execution across Sephora US, Sephora at Kohl's, Sephora Canada, Sephora LATAM, and Dermstore.com
  • Translate Global Brand go-to-market plans into retailer-specific execution
  • Manage the Americas trade marketing budget, including annual planning, spend allocation, OpEx tracking, invoices, and quarterly reforecasting
  • Lead annual and quarterly Joint Business Planning with retail partners
  • Lead marketing strategy and execution for P.C Sephora LATAM expansion
  • Serve as senior marketing relationship owner for Sephora US, Canada, and LATAM
  • Own trade marketing plans, execution, results reporting, and promotional tent-pole moments
  • Represent Paula's Choice in market weeks, business reviews, and partner strategy sessions
  • Guide retail media network strategy and off-site media needs
  • Own monthly and quarterly 360 trade marketing readouts for leadership
  • Develop retail in-app previews, digital programs, and beta opportunities
  • Own North American retail PDP asset strategy and digital shelf standards
  • Oversee retail PR and digital programs with Canada and LATAM agencies
  • Manage ratings and reviews vendor relationship, contract, budget, audits, and performance reporting
  • Manage and develop 1 direct report
  • Represent North America Trade Marketing in executive and cross-functional planning
  • Present portfolio strategy, results, and investment recommendations to leadership
  • Own post-campaign analysis and strategic recommendations
  • Partner with Sales, Education, Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, VM, Creative, Finance, Digital Americas, VP of Sales, and Global Brand

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in retail/trade marketing or brand management for a beauty brand, with experience managing at least 1 direct report
  • Robust, proven experience owning trade strategy and P&L for Sephora and at least one additional national or mass retail partner
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead integrated retail marketing programs across multiple accounts
  • Strong acumen in Retail Paid Media, Retail Creator programs, and Retail Animations
  • Proven ability to build and sustain strong retail relationships
  • Relevant beauty/skincare industry experience and strong understanding of retail merchandising and digital shelf strategy
  • Executive presence to represent trade strategy and results directly to senior leadership
  • Strong communication skills, strategic and financial thinking, and ability to lead cross-functionally without direct authority
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning budget and forecast accuracy
  • Omni-channel retail expertise across digital marketing and brick-and-mortar
  • A reference from Sephora will be required
  • Ability to handle long periods of sitting and screen time
  • Flexibility around retail partner and executive calendars
  • Travel up to 10–15%
