About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Raise the visual quality bar of products and surfaces, focusing on typography, layout, spacing, components, and overall polish
- Work across mobile native experiences on iOS and Android and web platforms
- Balance visual excellence with UX, business goals, and product performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing
- Build or improve experiences and create polished components and surfaces from scratch where design patterns are unavailable
- Present, explain, and defend design decisions
- Evolve workflows through AI tools, prototyping, research, and experimentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive Figma experience
- UX fluency
- User research methodologies
- Design Systems
- Strong visual design
- Presentation skills in English and Spanish
- Business/metrics fluency
- AI fluency and prototyping
- Experience designing for native iOS and Android, as well as desktop/web platforms
- Experience creating and maintaining scalable design systems
- Prototyping experience
- Analytics/metrics experience
- Ability to understand or work with product/business queries and data
- AI tools integrated into the design workflow
- Experience implementing AI in workflows and business processes
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Branding/brand assets, illustration/vector skills, or experience in a branding or design studio are nice-to-have
