About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide specialized legal advice and support to enable business strategy while identifying and managing legal risk
- Advise on compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Partner with business counterparts across the enterprise to identify legal risks and provide strategic legal guidance
- Analyze legal risks and present mitigation options and recommendations
- Escalate complex legal issues and significant risks to senior legal leadership
- Research and analyze laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance affecting global operations
- Manage assigned legal matters through resolution with internal stakeholders and external counsel
- Maintain knowledge of legal developments and communicate implications
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years relevant experience
- Juris Doctorate degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Specialized legal expertise
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
- Ability to identify, analyze, and advise on legal risks
- Ability to research new laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance
- Ability to manage legal matters through resolution
- Current knowledge of legal developments relevant to assigned business areas
