About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Initiate accounting processes to ensure financial statements meet local GAAP
- Monitor the accounting closing process and post journal entries for required local-ledger adjustments
- Support local and global regulatory obligations
- Drive process control rigor for quarterly financial certifications
- Implement monthly financial reports and analytics for structured risk-based financial reviews
- Implement statutory financial statements and ensure timely completion of statutory audits
- Facilitate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close activities
- Review and prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, roll-forwards, and month-end reporting packages
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong understanding of credit products
- Experience in ABS and securitization preferred
- Certified Public Accountant or strong accounting background highly preferred
- Highly proficient in Excel
- High attention to detail
