About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with PayPal's business objectives and procurement strategies
- Conduct category and supplier analysis to identify cost savings, risk mitigation, and performance improvement opportunities
- Lead supplier negotiations for favorable terms, pricing, and service levels
- Manage supplier relationships, contractual compliance, performance, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and develop sourcing strategies
- Monitor market trends and industry developments for procurement risks and opportunities
- Research, assess, and select vendors aligned with strategic goals and quality standards
- Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures
- Analyze spend data and procurement metrics and report findings to senior management
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience
