About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead workstreams and smaller independent projects informing medium- and long-term business decisions aligned with PayPal’s corporate strategy
- Analyze market sizing, competitive positioning, partnership opportunities, and growth strategy
- Develop strategic analysis and recommendations for senior leadership
- Build business cases, competitive assessments, investment frameworks, and executive narratives
- Incubate new product and business concepts, including go-to-market hypotheses and early-stage business cases
- Collaborate with Product, Finance, Sales, and Partnerships from initiative framing through execution
- Stand up new strategic initiatives when needed
- Share analytical frameworks and approaches to improve team effectiveness
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Complex research and data analysis skills
- Experience developing business cases, competitive assessments, investment frameworks, and executive narratives
- Ability to conduct interviews and brainstorming
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and develop strategic recommendations
- Visa sponsorship through PayPal is not available for this position now or any time in the future
