Key responsibilities & impact

Establish a shared vision and cohesive strategy for PayPal’s crypto and stablecoin product portfolio
Lead product strategy development and create an executable product portfolio strategy with cross-functional stakeholders
Shape the architectural roadmap while balancing innovation, technical implementation, regulatory requirements, time-to-market, customer needs, and profitability
Champion customer experience and prioritize customer needs in product requirements and decision-making
Define and use product success metrics, including usability studies, research, and market analysis
Standardize analytics, customer discovery, market research, and competitive analysis workstreams
Manage product portfolio profitability, including budgetary decisions
Lead Product Reviews, Operating Reviews, and Business Reviews to drive execution and accountability
Interface with senior leadership as needed
Manage and develop a team of product managers
Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving digital asset environment

What you’ll need

12+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience
5 years of experience leading others
Deep fintech and crypto/digital asset expertise required
Demonstrated experience building and scaling products in regulated financial services and digital asset environments
Experience leading product strategy and roadmaps across crypto and stablecoin products, including stablecoins, custody, on/off-ramps, payment rails, network expansion, and digital asset infrastructure
Strong working knowledge of stablecoins, crypto infrastructure, and the regulatory landscape governing digital assets
Deep understanding of customer and merchant needs for digital asset products, including trust, transparency, and ease of use
Experience using on-chain and transaction data, customer insights, market research, and competitive analysis
Experience managing portfolio economics and investment tradeoffs across network, liquidity, and infrastructure
Ability to lead across Engineering, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and Risk
Ability to communicate portfolio strategy, performance, and priorities to senior leadership
