About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the product strategy and roadmap for Braintree’s iOS and Android SDKs
- Understand merchant and developer integration pain points and identify opportunities
- Track mobile trends, developer frameworks, and SDK market competitiveness
- Drive product decisions through A/B testing and full instrumentation of the merchant journey
- Lead sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and roadmap sessions
- Maintain Jira project timelines and healthy, clearly scoped epics
- Partner with engineering, developer relations, content developers, data scientists, product designers, UX researchers, and product managers
- Write and maintain integration guides and internal and external developer documentation
- Structure documentation for human developers and AI coding agents; help build MCP servers
- Monitor developer use of AI coding assistants and LLMs for SDK integration
- Gather and synthesize feedback from merchants, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Define and track SDK adoption, integration health, and related success metrics
- Ensure SDK compatibility with iOS/Android OS updates and app store policies
- Prioritize mobile SDK roadmap work and drive major SDK version releases
- Own go-to-market plans, including documentation, sample code, enablement, sales/support briefing, and post-launch adoption tracking
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years of Mobile (iOS/Swift and Android/Kotlin) product management experience
- Strong experience with JIRA/Confluence
- Working experience with SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau/Microsoft Excel/Power BI/DataViz)
- Mobile SDK experience is nice to have
- API experience is nice to have
- Hands-on familiarity with LLMs and AI coding assistants, such as Model Context Protocol (MCP), context/plugin patterns, or AI-assisted documentation, is nice to have
