About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build a robust and scalable multi-cloud platform using AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Accelerate migration from on-premises environments to public cloud
- Oversee load balancers, GSLB equipment, and CDN platforms
- Troubleshoot client/server issues
- Handle proactive and reactive outages, network incidents, escalations, and root cause analysis
- Lead backbone network design and architecture for on-premises and public-cloud migration
- Build hybrid connectivity solutions
- Develop project objectives, timelines, and feature requirements with leadership, product managers, and customers
- Support network availability, manage network capacity, and ensure Information Security compliance
- Deploy equipment, manage SSL certificate hosting and renewal, and build data-center and cloud infrastructure
- Improve operational procedures, systems, and network-engineering best practices
- Provide on-call support, monitor infrastructure and hosted services, and troubleshoot complex issues
- Manage and influence global teams, guide and mentor team members
- Communicate incident impacts, risks, and mitigation plans to executives
- Document incidents, designs, and network-engineering best practices
- Develop efficient, reusable frontend and backend code
- Deliver quality solutions on schedule
- Create and review detailed design documents
- Provide technical and business leadership and deep technical support
- Participate in tools, systems, and process improvements for product supportability and productivity
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4–8 years of experience developing large-scale enterprise applications involving frontend and backend
- Experience developing frontend applications using JavaScript/React
- Experience developing backend REST API-based services using Golang
- Experience using AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud-native services, including Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage
- Experience with infrastructure as code, including Terraform and Google Kubernetes Engine
- Experience writing unit and integration tests for JavaScript frontend and Golang backend
- Knowledge of basic Linux commands and shell scripting
- Knowledge of continuous delivery and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Harness, and ArgoCD
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-resolution skills
- Comfort with Agile development and Scrum processes
- AI experience is a plus
