About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide direct administrative support to the department’s senior leaders
  • Provide broad administrative support to team members in support of department operations
  • Support the Administrative Manager and Administrative Analyst, as well as all members of the Academic Leadership Team
  • Handle work responsibilities for both Moultrie and Philadelphia PCOM Campuses
  • Collect and compile information for strategic and academic planning, budgeting, and reporting
  • Enter student data, course details, and other information accurately and timely into databases and systems
  • Schedule and attend meetings; maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive matters
  • Create meeting agendas and minutes
  • Implement quality, service, and process improvement initiatives
  • Manage all facets of department event planning, as applicable
  • Perform other role-related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a similar administrative support role, preferably in a higher education setting
  • High level of computer proficiency in word processing, Excel spreadsheets, presentations, email, and virtual meeting applications
  • Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 platforms preferred
  • Experience with Smartsheet preferred but not required
  • High level customer service
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods, up to eight hours per day
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to view computer screen for extended periods, up to eight hours per day
  • Manual dexterity and mobility to use personal computers and other office equipment
