About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with the HR Business Partner team to deliver people programs, projects, and day-to-day HR support
- Provide first-line HR support to designated business functions, including Managed Services and Support
- Coach employees and managers on HR policies and practices and escalate complex or higher-risk issues to the appropriate HR Business Partner
- Support routine employee relations matters, including fact-finding, manager coaching, corrective action documentation, performance improvement plans, case tracking, and follow-up
- Draft and update job descriptions and support job title, compensation, and organizational changes
- Coordinate related workflows in Salesforce and Enboarder
- Provide recruiting support, including intake meetings, job postings, resume review, candidate screening, interview planning and coordination, candidate communications, hiring manager follow-up, and recruiting reporting
- Support managers in using HR and recruiting processes and tools, including Lever, performance processes, interview practices, and documentation expectations
- Serve as the HR point of contact for employee transitions, including onboarding, transfers, manager changes, approved backfills, offboarding, and exit interviews
- Prepare managers for organizational changes and coordinate with HR Operations and other teams
- Support department climate surveys and listening activities by organizing feedback, identifying themes, and tracking action plans
- Provide additional recruiting support during periods of increased hiring activity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of progressive HR experience with exposure to multiple areas of human resources
- Experience supporting managers and employees with day-to-day HR questions, employee relations matters, and people processes
- Experience supporting HR projects, programs, or business initiatives from planning through execution
- Experience supporting recruiting activities, including candidate screening, interview coordination, and hiring manager partnership
- Strong writing skills for drafting job descriptions, employee communications, performance documentation, and other HR materials
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and follow-up activities
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, independently handle routine HR matters, and recognize when escalation is required
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills for working effectively with employees, managers, and HR partners
- Ability to adapt quickly and shift priorities based on changing business and HR needs
