Key responsibilities & impact

Develop complex financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
Analyze current and past financial data and performance and recommend profit enhancements
Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and develop solutions to improve operations and reporting accuracy
Implement best practices in financial systems and controls while ensuring regulatory compliance
Prepare detailed financial reports and management dashboards highlighting trends, forecasts, and performance
Enhance data collection procedures to convey concise and comprehensive financial information
Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information needs
Translate business requirements into system requirements
Liaise between finance, operations, and technology departments to enhance systems and interfaces
Lead and participate in finance-function enhancement projects, managing timelines, scope, and risks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or a related field
Proven experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and expense management
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration
Preferred: Experience leveraging AI tools, particularly Claude, for innovation, automation, and enhanced financial analysis
Preferred: Strong proficiency in financial software systems such as Oracle NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP systems
Preferred: Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and macros
Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated leadership ability to drive projects and initiatives within cross-functional teams
Agility and flexibility to manage changing priorities and work under tight deadlines
