About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own feature-level delivery within Insight, including report builders, dashboard creation, visualizations, filters, scheduling, sharing, and export
  • Drive product discovery, write PRDs/user stories, and define acceptance criteria and success metrics
  • Maintain and prioritize the Insight feature backlog and align work with the Data Products roadmap and OKRs
  • Plan sprints and clarify scope for the team
  • Partner with design and engineering on self-service analytics solutions, estimate work, sequence milestones, and remove blockers
  • Run client interviews, prototype reviews, and usability tests
  • Instrument Insight features and build usage dashboards
  • Monitor report and dashboard adoption, data quality and accuracy, query/load performance, and client satisfaction
  • Coordinate releases and go-to-market support, including release notes, client enablement, and rollout plans
  • Define acceptance criteria, support QA/UAT, and maintain user guides, in-product help, and runbooks
  • Identify risks, trade-offs, dependencies, and data/performance constraints; escalate appropriately
  • Communicate status, decisions, and changes to stakeholders and relevant clients; maintain product artifacts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field
  • 2-4 years in product management in a technology environment
  • Demonstrated experience owning feature delivery end-to-end (discovery, PRDs/user stories, launch, iteration)
  • Experience collaborating with engineering and design and participating in Agile ceremonies
  • Ability to run interviews, synthesize insights, and validate assumptions
  • Ability to write clear PRDs/user stories and acceptance criteria and manage a backlog
  • Ability to define feature metrics, instrument basic analytics, and make data-informed decisions
  • Understanding of API basics, UX principles, and delivery constraints
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Experience with Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and iterative delivery
  • Recognized Agile/Product certification (e.g., CSPO/PSPO/PSM or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience in high-growth or startup environments preferred
  • Basic SQL/analytics and instrumentation; ability to build simple dashboards preferred
  • Familiarity with web technologies and APIs; comfort collaborating on developer-facing documentation preferred
