About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaboratively develop and continually refine product roadmaps based on platform strategy and investment priorities
Understand customer needs and pain points through direct interaction or feedback analysis, translating them into clear problem statements
Build rapport and trust with business owners, engineering, architecture, and other stakeholders
Draft business cases with defined business value and success metrics
Support quality management by ensuring team results are integrated and performance, security, reliability, and other non-functional requirements are met
Evaluate and share product performance and KPIs
Communicate product vision, scope, and intended final-product behavior to stakeholders
Lead change management efforts
Work with research teams to define, measure, and improve digital product efficacy
Monitor industry trends, technologies, and competitive analyses to identify opportunities
Update knowledge of emerging AI trends and tools affecting product work
Experiment with AI to streamline discovery, planning, and delivery while maintaining product and customer outcomes
Collaborate with software engineering, content development, marketing, sales, and school-facing support teams on software supporting curriculum design and delivery, assessment services, content rendering, and third-party content integrations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education, business, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of product management, business analysis, or a similar role, preferably in educational technology or SaaS
Familiarity with the implementation of online curriculum and program, school, or district operations protocols
Ability to synthesize and prioritize the needs of multiple stakeholder groups
Ability to convert multiple data points into an actionable plan that meets end-user needs
Proven ability to manage complex large-scale projects under significant constraints using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong personal ownership and accountability in a fast-paced environment
Technological proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office programs and Jira
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
Ability to effectively meet deadlines
Significant flexibility, self-direction, and creativity
Agile experience preferred
