About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Co-own the enterprise Nebula roadmap with the Design Systems Director
  • Define problems Nebula should solve across Pearson business units and product portfolios
  • Prioritize investments across reusable components, platform capabilities, adoption tooling, AI-enabled workflows, brand integration, and Content/AI needs
  • Establish product hypotheses, success measures, and investment decision criteria
  • Segment products and business units by readiness, compatibility, value opportunity, and migration complexity
  • Turn interested teams into roadmap-committed adopters with named products, dates, owners, and scope
  • Lead discovery with consuming teams and identify adoption friction and migration barriers
  • Design the end-to-end adoption experience from evaluation through ongoing consumption
  • Establish Nebula measurement frameworks, telemetry, dashboards, and enterprise value indicators
  • Validate business-case assumptions using adoption data and evidence
  • Run continuous generative and evaluative discovery with consuming teams
  • Turn customer insight and telemetry into roadmap decisions
  • Own Nebula prioritization and outcome-based backlog management
  • Establish criteria for platform investments, component requests, migrations, contributions, exceptions, and enterprise versus business-unit work
  • Partner with the Director, Principal Engineer, and discipline leads on roadmap and release planning
  • Maintain decision traceability from customer problem to investment and outcome

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Senior product leadership experience in enterprise product management
  • Experience translating enterprise vision into outcome-driven platform roadmaps
  • Experience with product strategy, prioritization, adoption strategy, and measurable business value
  • Experience partnering with design systems, engineering, product, accessibility, AI, Brand, and business-unit leaders
  • Experience with telemetry, dashboards, adoption metrics, and value measurement
  • Experience conducting generative and evaluative discovery
  • Experience defining prioritization criteria and outcome-based backlog management
  • Ability to balance enterprise standardization with legitimate product and technical differences
  • Ability to convert ambiguous enterprise asks into appropriately sized discovery and delivery increments
