  • Debug automation failures, distinguish product bugs from script issues, and resolve root causes
  • Identify and address flaky tests
  • Push clean automation merge requests, monitor pipeline results, and resolve failures
  • Validate AI-assisted feature outputs for accuracy, consistency, business correctness, and edge-case behavior
  • Use AI coding and testing tools to accelerate test case drafting and automation scripting while validating outputs

  • Contribute to release readiness assessments
  • Collaborate with product managers and participate in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–4 years of professional QE or software testing experience
  • Independently scope test coverage from stories, designs, and acceptance criteria; make deliberate skip decisions with documented rationale; identify integration touch points without prompting
  • Hands-on experience building, running, and maintaining UI automation suites in Playwright; write new tests independently
  • Independently write and maintain API automation tests covering authentication scenarios, negative paths, response body assertions, and error handling
  • Create test data dynamically via API calls; understand risks of hardcoded or shared data and isolate state between tests
  • Monitor CI/CD pipeline results, read failure logs, identify root causes, and resolve failures independently
  • Write clear, structured bug reports; defend disputed defects with evidence; add regression tests after production bugs
  • Effectively use AI coding and testing tools and independently validate their outputs
  • Nice to have: API contract testing, backend/database validation and SQL, performance/load testing, agentic AI or multi-step AI workflow testing, LLM output evaluation, BDD/Gherkin testing
  • Degree or qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is nice to have
