About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Shape and deliver the platform by translating business needs into priorities
Own the product backlog, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and prioritize work based on value, risk, and effort
Set and communicate the product vision and roadmap
Use Jira Product Discovery to capture ideas, evaluate options, and explain prioritization decisions
Partner with engineering teams throughout delivery, clear blockers, answer questions, and ensure releases meet agreed outcomes
Build stakeholder relationships, gather needs, manage expectations, and explain trade-offs and decisions
Document requirements, decisions, and processes in Confluence
Use artificial intelligence tools for research, drafting, analysis, and backlog refinement while checking output quality
Track product performance using data and feedback and improve the product
Raise risks and dependencies early and follow through on commitments
Engage architecture, development engineers, and QE to provide quality products and features

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least five years of experience in product ownership or product management in a fast-paced organization
Solid grounding in product management practices, including discovery, road mapping, prioritization, backlog management, and agile delivery
Understanding of how platforms are built and delivered, including releases, integrations, and dependencies
Proactive approach and accountability for outcomes
Clear, confident communication with technical and non-technical audiences
Experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at different levels
Hands-on experience with Jira, Jira Product Discovery, and Confluence
Ability to use artificial intelligence tools in everyday work
Leadership skills and experience shipping successful products
Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred: experience working on a SaaS platform
Preferred: experience in financial technology or another regulated, data-sensitive environment
Preferred: Product Owner or agile certification, such as Certified Scrum Product Owner
