About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain integrated marketing strategies across awareness, consideration, purchase, onboarding, engagement, retention, renewal, and advocacy
  • Identify customer needs, friction points, and engagement opportunities throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Translate customer insights into marketing plans that improve satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term value
  • Ensure consistent messaging and experiences across customer touchpoints and channels
  • Lead lifecycle marketing programs to increase engagement, retention, renewal, and cross-sell opportunities
  • Design and execute onboarding communications for new customers
  • Develop member communication strategies supporting policy renewals and customer loyalty
  • Create targeted retention campaigns to reduce attrition
  • Evaluate lifecycle performance and optimize programs based on customer behavior and business outcomes
  • Plan, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate campaign development across owned, earned, paid, and partner channels
  • Define campaign objectives, audiences, messaging, tactics, measurement approaches, and timelines
  • Collaborate with creative teams and agencies on campaign assets
  • Manage activation across email, digital and paid media, social media, websites, direct mail, agent and partner communications, in-app experiences, and internal communication channels
  • Optimize channel mix based on audience behavior, objectives, and performance data
  • Serve as a marketing partner to Distribution, agency, affinity, and business partners
  • Develop co-marketing and partner marketing initiatives
  • Align partner goals, messaging, campaign execution, and measurement
  • Develop marketing resources and communication tools for partners
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics aligned with business objectives
  • Monitor, analyze, and report campaign effectiveness
  • Recommend improvements in targeting, messaging, channel optimization, and customer journey enhancements
  • Create executive-ready performance reports and presentations
  • Partner with analytics teams to identify trends and opportunities
  • Collaborate with Product, Distribution, Customer Experience, Digital, Brand, Creative, Communications, Data & Analytics, and Technology teams
  • Build stakeholder relationships and align initiatives
  • Manage project timelines, priorities, and resources
  • Champion testing, learning, customer-centered decision-making, and results-driven marketing
  • Support the PEMCO brand and contribute to recruiting top talent
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 5–8+ years of progressive experience in integrated marketing, customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, demand generation, or related disciplines
  • Experience managing multi-channel campaigns from strategy through execution and measurement
  • Experience developing customer journey or lifecycle marketing programs
  • Strong understanding of CRM, segmentation, customer engagement, and retention strategies
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into action
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Experience in insurance or another highly regulated industry preferred
  • Experience with customer journey mapping and customer experience frameworks preferred
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms preferred
  • Experience supporting partner, channel, or affinity marketing programs preferred
  • Experience working with customer analytics and performance reporting tools preferred
  • Skilled proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong customer service orientation and relentless focus on the customer
  • Ability to succeed in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Must reside and work from Washington, Oregon, or Idaho
  • Occasional travel to headquarters in Seattle, Washington
