About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Articulate and implement the Center’s vision and goals with faculty and Penn Museum leadership
- Cultivate, coordinate, and sustain strategic cultural partnerships, collaborative networks, and coalitions
- Support institutional engagement, networking, and field-based visits with partners and peer organizations
- Design convenings, dialogues, and exchanges aligned with strategic priorities and extramural funding
- Manage staff and programs related to academic partnerships
- Coordinate workflows, project tracking, internal processes, staff meetings, and scheduling
- Liaise with donors and the Center’s Advisory Board
- Coordinate with Penn Museum Development and promote funded research
- Support effective use of financial, human, and physical resources
- Represent the Center and communicate priorities to internal and external stakeholders
- Supervise the Research Collaborations Coordinator
- Support administrative processes related to events
- Establish and maintain partnerships, including the Asuray Land Restoration Project and international regional networks
- Conduct research and develop cultural heritage initiatives and collaborative opportunities
- Support strategic goals through actionable initiatives, partnerships, projects, and funding pathways
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, institutional partnerships, and external research activities
- Support proposal development aligned with funder priorities, institutional goals, and partner needs
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts and 2 to 3 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with the administration of Federal grants involving academic institutions and non-profit organizations
- Cover Letter and Resume/CV required
- Background checks may be required after a conditional job offer
- 3 to 5 years of experience preferred
- Master’s degree strongly preferred
- Experience administering National Resource Center awards from the U.S. Department of Education strongly preferred
