About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and mentor several Engineering Managers as a manager of managers
- Report directly to the CTO or Head of Engineering
- Work closely with Group Product Manager and Product Design Manager
- Collaborate with other Senior Engineering Managers
- Identify developers’ strengths and areas for improvement
- Support developer growth and leadership within the senior tech community
- Establish processes as the team scales
- Lead or contribute to cross-team and transversal initiatives
- Help scale the Pennylane application beyond 700,000 customers
- Participate in onboarding, tech training, quality and efficiency improvement, and team engagement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant experience managing engineering teams, including management of managers
- Fluent in English
- Must have the right to work in the European Union
- No visa sponsorship available
- Hiring limited to Europe
- Experience with engineering management, senior engineering leadership, and cross-team initiatives
