About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, qualify, manage, and win new business opportunities for aftermarket parts and service
  • Manage aftermarket parts and service sales development with sales channels and internal teams
  • Develop business partnership plans with channel partners and end users to capture market share
  • Conduct technical Lunch & Learns for engineers, maintenance teams, and facility operators
  • Promote preventive and predictive capabilities to extend equipment life and solve pumping problems
  • Increase the sales opportunity funnel and track win rate using a CRM such as Salesforce
  • Manage the authorized service center program and coordinate end-user pumping solutions
  • Travel to distributors, customers, events, tradeshows, and other business-related meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s (B.A. or B.S.) degree, or equivalent industry experience
  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • 3+ years of parts and service experience with commercial and infrastructure pumping equipment or equivalent
  • Proven track record of identifying and winning strategic sales opportunities
  • Excellent technical and business presentation skills
  • Experience presenting to engineers, facility operators, and maintenance teams
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite, CRM such as Salesforce, and equipment selection software such as Encompass
  • Proven ability to build relationships with distributors, engineers, owners, and/or contractors
  • Willingness to travel; 60% travel is required
  • Up to 75% travel to distributors, customers, events, tradeshows, and other business-related meetings
