About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive sales for aftermarket parts and service business across Municipal, Industrial, Commercial HVAC, and Commercial Fire Suppression pump product lines
  • Identify, qualify, manage, and win new business opportunities for aftermarket parts and service
  • Manage the aftermarket parts and service sales development process with sales channels and internal teams
  • Develop business partnership plans with channel partners and end users to capture market share
  • Conduct technical Lunch & Learns with engineers, maintenance teams, and facility operators
  • Manage and promote preventive and predictive capabilities to extend equipment life and solve pumping problems
  • Increase the sales opportunity funnel and track win rates using a CRM such as Salesforce
  • Manage the authorized service center program and coordinate end-user pumping solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's (B.A. or B.S.) degree; equivalent industry experience will also be considered
  • 3+ years of sales experience with parts and service experience for commercial and infrastructure pumping equipment or equivalent
  • Proven track record of identifying and winning strategic sales opportunities
  • Excellent technical and business presentation skills, including experience presenting to engineers, facility operators, and maintenance teams
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and equipment selection software (e.g., Encompass)
  • Proven ability to build relationships with distributors, engineers, owners, and/or contractors
  • Ability to travel up to 75% to distributors, customers, events, tradeshows, and other business-related meetings
  • Ability to work in or near the respective region and near a major airport
