About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support development of new product concepts informed by consumer insights, emerging trends, and category whitespace
  • Assist in building concept boards, innovation briefs, and project outlines
  • Work with Design, Development, and Sourcing to progress prototypes, materials, construction options, and feasibility checks
  • Help manage sample rounds, testing feedback, and documentation for new concepts
  • Conduct trend research, competitor scanning, and consumer insight gathering
  • Assist with product testing, consumer feedback collection, and early-stage validation studies
  • Maintain accurate NPD project documentation across PLM and internal systems
  • Support milestones, meeting notes, action lists, and timelines across multiple innovation projects
  • Support collaboration with Brand, Design, Development, Commercial, and Sustainability teams
  • Help prepare materials for NPD reviews, concept pitches, and stakeholder presentations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience or strong interest in product innovation, product development, or category research
  • Creative curiosity paired with strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in documentation, testing notes, and project tracking
  • Confident communication and ability to work with cross-functional innovation teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Interest in learning PLM systems
