About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own market access, safety, chemicals, labelling and testing protocols for UK, EU and other non-Americas markets
- Lead delivery of the ESPR and Digital Product Passport programmes for assigned markets
- Own recall execution, coordinating responses with Legal and brand teams and closing out regulator engagement
- Apply REACH, PFAS, POPs, Proposition 65 and Restricted Substances List requirements to product and testing decisions
- Feed readiness status and risk into reporting to the Product Regulatory Compliance Committee
- Work with suppliers and brand teams to resolve compliance issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in product compliance, product safety or regulatory affairs, ideally in apparel, footwear or another consumer goods category
- Deep working knowledge of UK and EU product regulation
- Knowledge of REACH, chemical restrictions, labelling and market-specific information requirements
- Direct experience with ESPR, the Digital Product Passport, or comparable emerging regulation, or a fast ability to get up to speed
- Hands-on approach to working through compliance issues with suppliers or brand teams
- Calm, organised recall experience
- Comfortable applying compliance requirements to product and testing decisions
- Comfortable working across UK, EU and other non-Americas markets
