About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and other prospective limited partners
  • Lead fundraising efforts, including investor outreach, presentations, due diligence, and ongoing communications
  • Source, evaluate, negotiate, and oversee venture investments aligned with the fund’s strategy
  • Lead financial analysis, valuation, investment underwriting, and portfolio construction
  • Present investment recommendations to the investment committee and participate in investment decisions
  • Support portfolio companies on financing strategy, governance, and growth
  • Monitor portfolio performance and communicate results, risks, and developments to investors
  • Work with fund leadership and counsel to support appropriate fundraising, reporting, and compliance practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, asset management, family office investing, or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated success raising capital from high-net-worth investors, family offices, or institutional investors ($1M+ checks, etc.)
  • Strong command of financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, and investment risk
  • An established investor network and the ability to cultivate long-term relationships built on trust
  • A track record of sound investment judgment and experience managing investments after closing
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • High standards of integrity and discretion
