About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Report directly to the Area Sales Manager
  • Prospect and acquire new customers within the designated territory through networking and lead development
  • Identify growth opportunities and prospects for new customer acquisition
  • Develop customer relationships to enhance loyalty and drive account growth
  • Implement strategic sales initiatives to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Consult with customers to understand business needs and offer workforce solutions
  • Sell PeopleReady service offerings
  • Collaborate with PeopleReady contracts and legal teams to negotiate contract terms
  • Ensure competitive bill rates and margins are applied to customer contracts
  • Communicate unique customer details to the appropriate branch
  • Proactively pursue cross-sell opportunities across TrueBlue brands and neighboring markets
  • Develop account management and sales strategies to increase share of wallet and customer retention
  • Lead formal business reviews with key customers
  • Use technology and tools to maintain account management and growth strategies
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments
  • Mentor other sales representatives and client-facing employees
  • Spend over 50% of working time on outside sales activities and client engagement
  • Travel to customer sites and local branches

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Three or more years of related sales experience; bachelor's degree, associate degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Managed a portfolio of at least $2.5M per annum
  • Sales experience in one or more blue-collar market verticals
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Experience understanding, adapting to, and applying new technologies
  • Valid driver's license, registered vehicle, and vehicle insurance
  • Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to persuade diverse customer stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively under pressure
  • Ability to analyze order, associate, and customer data
  • Ability to establish rapport with a wide range of individuals
  • Ability to understand multiple, diverse perspectives from clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce.com
  • Must be work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future employer sponsorship
