About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure in AWS
- Enable development teams to own their systems and deliver high-impact products
- Partner with SRE and security teams to help developers build resilient and secure applications
- Participate in on-call and incident management as part of a “you build it, you run it” mentality
- Build, maintain, and scale infrastructure and tools that empower developers to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on experience managing systems in AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or Pulumi
- Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and tools, such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools, such as Datadog or CloudWatch
- Experience with containerisation and container orchestration, such as Docker or ECS
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python or Go
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in distributed systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfortable working across a mostly Linux estate, with some exposure to Windows systems and .NET applications
- Experience with serverless architectures
- Experience defining advanced cloud networking setups
- Familiarity with SOC2, ISO 27001, or other compliance frameworks
- Must be based within commuting distance of a Perk hub
- English is the official language at the office
- Legal authorisation to work in the country where the role is based
