About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle travel bookings, amendments, and cancellations for business travellers
- Arrange European and domestic travel, including flights, car rentals, and hotels
- Manage client communications via live chat, phone, and email
- Work autonomously on client enquiries and maintain GDS queues
- Mentor junior team members and quality-check their work
- Develop client relationships throughout the travel lifecycle
- Work split shifts from 9:00am–2:30pm and 5:30pm–8:30pm
Requirements
What you’ll need- Expert knowledge of Galileo or Amadeus GDS systems, including ticket reissuing
- Proficiency in air fares and ticketing
- Previous business travel consultant experience
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Professional telephone manner and client-facing confidence
- Comfortable managing a split-shift routine and resuming work mid-evening
- Willingness to work weekends on rotation and bank holidays if the shift falls on those days
- Must be based within commuting distance of a Perk hub
- Must attend the Birmingham Hub for training and special events
