About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide first-class, 7-star service to business travelers
- Manage travel bookings, amendments, and cancellations
- Arrange European and domestic flights, car rentals, and hotels
- Handle client inquiries and provide solutions independently
- Communicate with clients via live chat, telephone, and email
- Make reservations and amendments for Click Travel customers
- Maintain and develop client relationships throughout the travel process
- Provide suitable travel options and suggestions
- Meet service level agreements and maintain Galileo GDS queues
- Mentor and support junior team members and quality-check their work
- Support the Team Leader and collaborate with colleagues to maintain service quality
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficiency in air fares and ticketing
- Expert knowledge of Galileo or Amadeus GDS
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Previous experience as a Business Travel Consultant
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
- Professional telephone manner and confidence interacting with clients and suppliers
- Proactive problem-solving skills for customer queries and complaints
- Flexibility to complete various tasks as needed
- Permanent night-shift availability
- Willingness to work rotating weekends and bank holidays when shifts fall on those days
- Ability to work within commuting distance of Perk hubs, with training and special events at the Birmingham hub
