About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the mobility policy suite covering relocation, permanent transfers, international assignments, remote/cross-border work arrangements, and business travel thresholds
- Run individual mobility cases from scoping through landing, including package design, cost estimates, immigration sequencing, tax and social-security implications, payroll setup, relocation logistics, and post-arrival support
- Manage employment-based immigration casework with outside counsel across H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, O-1, F-1 OPT/CPT, and employer-sponsored permanent residence
- Own internal timelines, start-date reality checks, and manager/candidate communications
- Manage daily immigration intake and case execution, including questionnaires, supporting documents, employment verification letters, signatures, counsel follow-ups, and case closure
- Own right-to-work compliance across the U.S., UK, EU, and other markets
- Decide and document entity/employment models for new markets with Finance and Legal
- Manage the mobility vendor stack, including immigration counsel, relocation, tax, EOR, and global payroll vendors
- Model and track mobility costs, sponsorship fees, and premium-processing fees; obtain required approvals
- Build mobility tracking systems for case pipelines, deadlines, expirations, compensation comparisons, and related data
- Create mobility dashboards covering case volume, cycle time, cost per move, band penetration, offer-to-band variance, and equity-gap trends
- Write employee-facing documentation for mobility and pay decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of experience in global mobility, including ownership of cross-border moves and immigration casework
- Working fluency in U.S. employment-based immigration and at least one other major jurisdiction’s work-authorization regime (UK, EU, or Canada)
- Strong analytical skills
- Comfort with spreadsheets and HRIS reporting
- Ability to build defensible models and explain assumptions
- Judgment about risk, including classification and permanent-establishment exposure
- Excellent written communication
- Comfort with ambiguity, high volume, and shifting priorities
- Ability to come into the office four days per week
- Ability to obtain U.S. employment visa sponsorship if required
