About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead annual and quarterly planning, translating team strategy into priorities and resource plans
  • Establish decision rights, delivery commitments and measures of success
  • Resolve sequencing and capacity trade-offs and recommend additional people, vendors or technology
  • Manage integrated delivery plans for office openings, refreshes and capital initiatives
  • Direct external project managers and align internal workstreams
  • Resolve delivery issues and hold partners accountable for schedule, cost, quality and operational readiness
  • Establish lease administration, obligation tracking, space and occupancy information, and portfolio reporting
  • Set data and control standards and turn trends and risks into recommendations
  • Own operating and capital forecasts, commitments, actuals and variance analysis with Finance
  • Challenge assumptions and recommend corrective actions and investment trade-offs
  • Own requirements, governance and improvement priorities for workplace tools such as Envoy
  • Improve data quality and automate repeatable work while maintaining controls
  • Lead EHS program governance, obligation follow-through, remediation and risk escalation
  • Develop project playbooks, planning processes and operational-readiness criteria
  • Ensure completed projects transfer to local operations with documentation, training, vendor arrangements and issue ownership
  • Lead cross-functional operating and project reviews and represent workplace operations with internal and external partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years in workplace business operations, corporate real estate, facilities programs or a closely related field
  • Increasing responsibility for complex, multi-site programs and outcomes
  • Experience operating with substantial autonomy
  • Project and program management expertise, including planning, organizing, tracking and executing projects
  • Experience delivering office buildouts, relocations or capital improvements as an internal owner
  • Accountability for scope, financial performance, schedules, change control and external delivery partners
  • Experience driving forecasting and reporting processes
  • Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills
  • Experience establishing planning, governance, performance measures and systems for a growing function
  • Ability to secure commitments, challenge constructively and resolve competing priorities across teams and vendors
  • Ability to communicate risks and recommendations credibly to senior leaders
  • Ability to work independently and determine which decisions to escalate
  • Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly
  • Helpful, not required: international portfolio experience, workplace technology ownership, EHS program governance, or a relevant project-management credential
