Legal Counsel

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the Director, Senior Counsel in providing legal advice concerning commercial contracts
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and transactional documents
- Identify and resolve project and business risks
- Advise business units on legal risk and compliance
- Provide legal advice on contractor and consultant master service agreements, software licensing, vendor agreements, and other commercial contracts
- Oversee the Company’s contract management platform
- Handle corporate document drafting/review and land acquisition work as needed
- Monitor legal developments affecting the Company’s business
- Assist with implementing the Company’s legislative and regulatory agenda
- Complete assignments under short notice and extreme time constraints
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school required
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant Counsel experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Current, valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
