Key responsibilities & impact

Lead discovery sessions to understand client goals, workflows, and business requirements
Analyze current-state processes and recommend best-practice solutions
Translate business requirements into functional system and operational designs
Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and operational efficiency
Serve as a trusted advisor to business and executive stakeholders
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings
Document requirements, process flows, gap analyses, and solution recommendations
Support configuration validation, testing, training, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live activities
Partner with clients to drive organizational readiness and user adoption
Work closely with Product Management, Professional Services, Client Success, Training, and Technical teams
Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Share best practices and mentor team members where appropriate
Drive client satisfaction, on-time project delivery, solution quality, user adoption, implementation success, and client outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in mortgage banking, financial services, consulting, business analysis, or software implementation
Strong understanding of mortgage origination, lending operations, or loan lifecycle processes
Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Experience with loan origination systems (LOS), including Empower or similar mortgage platforms (preferred)
Experience leading system implementation or business transformation projects (preferred)
Knowledge of mortgage compliance, investor requirements, and operational workflows (preferred)
PMP, CBAP, Lean, Six Sigma, or related certifications (preferred)
