About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop new features and functionality as part of a team working on a serverless-based, distributed, cloud-native application
Write code and develop cloud and/or in-house software applications based on requirements
Analyze user requirements and develop robust, efficient software solutions
Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and rigorous software testing
Collaborate with product managers, designers, quality assurance, development, product, and architecture teams
Update existing applications through troubleshooting, patching, and incorporating new features
Document code, user manuals, and technical specifications
Design, iterate, and develop new product features
Build secure software using least-privilege principles
Take ownership of software quality and delivery
Create automated tests to validate product functionality
Identify opportunities to improve processes and code

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years' experience professional development
Experience in AWS using CloudFront, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, VPC, and API Gateway
Node JS/TS
Python
Angular and/or general web development
Experience testing with tools like Jest or Karma
Experience building HTTP-based APIs
Experience researching and recommending innovative technologies and tools aligned with business requirements
Desire to build intuitive and easy-to-use user interfaces
Capability to troubleshoot distributed systems
Desire to implement observability and support into the platform
Knowledge of Azure DevOps build and deployment pipelines
Knowledge of Git for source control
