About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements involving the company’s products and services, including nondisclosure agreements and sales agreements
- Work directly with the sales team to complete sales negotiations swiftly while protecting the company
- Negotiate vendor agreements
- Draft, update, and maintain form agreements
- Advise the Post-Sales team regarding customer issues
- Provide general support on non-commercial matters, including assisting with internal policies and related processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–4 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or similar environment
- Preferred minimum one year of in-house experience
- J.D.
- Active membership in at least one state bar
- Commercial negotiation and drafting skills
- Good judgment and ability to learn quickly with minimal guidance
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage projects effectively
- Experience with government contracts is a plus
- Knowledge of relevant state and international privacy laws, including CCPA and GDPR, is a plus
