About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design foundational aspects of Persona's configurable identity platform
  • Ship code as early as the first week
  • Work directly with customers to understand pain points and build product features
  • Get projects in front of real customers
  • Handle first-time and long-time customers running CSV data tests at Super Bowl Sunday scale
  • Collaborate with product, design, post-sales, and sales teams
  • Work with a mentor and close-knit team to apply learnings from past projects to future projects
  • Build systems for scale while creating products customers want

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in computer science, engineering, math, or related discipline with a strong CS background
  • Previous programming experience is required
  • Engineering skills; specific language or framework knowledge is not required
  • Proficiency in full-stack development
  • Previous experience with data modeling and schema design
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to execute projects and adhere to deadlines
  • Willingness to discuss positive and negative feedback regarding large projects
  • Willingness to work in person in San Francisco
  • Willingness to work from the San Francisco office Tuesday–Thursday, with a WFH option Monday and Friday
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
