About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain in-stock levels to goal through SKU-level replenishment and allocation strategies
  • Manage SKU/location baseline and promotional lift sales forecasts
  • Manage inventory replenishment and allocation strategies for promotional, financial, assortment/transition, and other business goals
  • Collaborate with Merchandise Planner on promotional and secondary planning, including identifying sales lift and needed inventory support
  • Identify and resolve inventory opportunities from distribution center to store
  • Drive operational and service goals including in-stock, inventory budget, inventory turnover, and IMROI
  • Define SKU entrance and exit strategies with merchant and merchandise planning partners and execute strategies
  • Perform root cause analysis through exception reporting
  • Develop cross-functional strategies to achieve shop/department-level goals
  • Build and maintain internal and external cross-functional relationships
  • Communicate with store partners to achieve strategic results
  • Support vendor management through collaborative forecasting meetings and analysis of vendor SKUs
  • Participate in system certification, professional development, and expansion of business, inventory, and supply chain knowledge
  • No supervisory responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Supply Chain, Business or a related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Advanced ability to use applications within Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong ability to extract and analyze data from databases and make appropriate recommendations
  • Two to three years of replenishment buying and/or store operations experience
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical and business problem solving skills
  • Ability to analyze data, conduct research and solve system issues
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Ability to achieve and maintain required system certifications
